Aria Baxton

as Gramma Tala, Moana Understudy

Aria Baxton is thrilled to bring Gramma Tala to life in Moana Jr. and honored to be the understudy for Moana. She has been dancing since she was 18 months old and loves every opportunity to perform. Her favorite parts of Moana Jr. are learning choreography and singing in a different language. In her free time, she is a member of the UA cheer team and UA girls soccer team and loves spending time with her sister, Nala. Aria is in her second year of Musical Theatre at University Academy.
Haylen Bland

as Hei Hei, Maui Ensemble, Shiny Ensemble

Haylen Bland is excited to play Hei Hei in Moana Jr. and shine as a key member of the Maui and Shiny Ensembles, showcasing her dance talent. Her favorite part of Moana Jr. is the dancing, and she loves musical theatre because it lets her dance and sing at the same time. This year, Haylen showcased her dance talents and leadership through creating choreography for our musical, most notably - the choreography for Tamatoa and the Left and Right Claws. Outside of school, Haylen enjoys dancing and playing volleyball. Haylen is in her third year of Theatre at University Academy.
Paisley Bland

as Maui Ensemble, Shiny Ensemble

Paisley Bland is excited to be part of the Maui and Shiny Ensembles in Moana Jr. This is her first year in musical theatre, and she has loved every moment, especially learning the choreography for the Shiny Ensemble. Outside of theatre, Paisley enjoys playing volleyball and basketball, going on trips with her family, singing, and dancing.
Callie Brown

as Maui Ensemble, Shiny Ensemble

Callie Brown is excited to be part of the Maui and Shiny Ensembles in Moana Jr. Callie has been involved in theatre at UA for two years and has also performed in a play outside of UA. She loves dancing and digital creativity, and her favorite part of Moana Jr. is How Far I’ll Go. One way that Callie was able to showcase her dancing and creative abilities was through creating choreography. Our Shiny Ensemble dance was choreographed and taught by Callie! Outside of theatre, Callie enjoys dancing, creating choreography, and spending time with her family.
