The Up and Coming Theatre Board of Directors would like to welcome you to today's production of Green Day's American Idiot. As a company established in 1993, we are always looking for ways to keep ourselves relevant and exciting. We are thrilled and incredibly lucky to be the Midwest Regional Premiere of Green Day's American Idiot. Up and Coming loves to bring new theater experiences to our audiences, so we relish the opportunity to perform something that many people in the community have not yet seen.
Over the years, Up and Coming theatre has had an overwhelming amount of talented actors and staff members become part of our family. In our production of American Idiot, UAC alumni and new faces have joined to create this crazy family. They have been working hard with passion, dedication, and lots and lots of sweat to bring you this amazing production.
I would like to express sincere gratitute to the Forestview Education Center staff, especially Patrick Zielinski and Jay Benz, for their generosity in giving us space to rehearse and perform.
Thank you for supporting us and celebrating another fantastic year of theater. Now, let the enthusiasm and excitement of this incredibly talented cast take you back to 2004.
