Matthew McCoy

as Melchior Gabor

Matthew is incredibly excited to be playing Melchior. He is a sophomore at Hillsdale High School. His favorite roles include Mark in RENT, Connor in Pills, and Ren in Footloose. Matthew has been a featured performer in 10 SFCMT productions and has attended the YATC. He thanks his family and friends for their love and support and Julie, Jessa, Louis, Eli, and everyone for making this show possible.
Bryce Stephens

as Moritz Stiefel

Bryce is 17 years old and a senior at Sequoia High School. He is excited for his first production with Upstage Theatre. Previous roles include Michael Dork in Loserville and Alex in Rehearsal for Murder. He enjoys playwriting and will be directing his first original production, 178 Blank Pages, later this spring. He will follow his passion for theater next fall by pursuing a BFA in Acting.
Celia Reddoch

as Wendla Bergmann

Celia is 18, and is incredibly excited to perform with Upstage Theatre! Some of her favorite roles she has had the privilege to play include Morticia Addams in Addams Family, Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby, and Eulalie Shinn in The Music Man. She passionately hates geese, and has no life outside of musical theatre. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as the cast and crew loved creating it.
Rosie Asmar

as Ilse Neumann

Rosie is 16 years old, a junior at Carlmont High School. Among her favorite roles are Sebastian in Little Mermaid, Essie in You Can’t Take It With You, Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing, Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Winnie in Annie Get Your Gun. In her free time, Rosie enjoys Shakespeare, activism, coloring, & drinking coffee. She is thrilled to play her dream role in her favorite show!
Veronique Plamondon

as Martha Bessell

Vero is 15 years old and is delighted to be in her third show with Upstage Theatre! Recent roles include "Lilly Cahill" in Punk Rock at Upstage Theatre, "Gingy" in Shrek The Musical, and "Mrs. Banks" in Mary Poppins. Vero is so thankful to have the opportunity be in another show with this marvelous company. She hopes you enjoy Spring Awakening!
