     Honk! is a celebration of friendship, uniqueness, and growth. If 2020 taught us anything, it taught us how to be ourselves and to love our friends. This show has had such a special place in my heart since I read the script back in 2010 and these kids have given it a whole new life. All of these characters are incredibly relatable. This story is about personal transformation and self acceptance. I don’t know a single person who hasn't felt left out at one point or another in their lives. Ugly shows us that it doesn’t matter who you are or what you look like; as long as you love the person you are, you will become something beautiful. This lesson is told not just by Ugly's transformation but through how the other characters accept it and the love they show for each other. I sincerely hope you enjoy the show and think about who in your life need some extra love and acceptance.
