Lisa Nalls
Director
Mrs Nalls is in her eleventh year of teaching Theatre and in her first offical year as Theatre Director here at Vandeventer. She has previously taught theatre in the district for 6 years at both Staley and Stafford middle schools. She loves seeing students make bold choices and reap thre rewards of hard work during the run of a Production.
In her spare time, Mrs Nalls enjoys hiking, jogging, seeing many musicals and spending time with her husband of 10 years, Michael and two girls, Harper (4) and Trinity (3).
Holly Cotten
Musical Director
Mrs. Cotten has been the Choral Director at Vandeventer for the past 7 years. She has enjoyed music all her life, playing the piano and singing since a young age. Mrs. Cotten studied voice at The University of Texas at Arlington and was fortunate to have many opportunities to perform all over the world. Over the past 17 years, she has taught both elementary and middle school level music. Her choirs have received high awards at UIL Choral Competition, Sandy Lake Choral Festival, Hurricane Harbor Choral Festival, NRH2O Choral Festival, Pride of Texas Choral Festival and the ISSMA Music Competition.
Mrs. Cotten has been married for 13 years to her husband Paul, who is also a singing musician and working in software development. Together they live in Corinth with their son, Ellis and two fur babies named Farley and Rufus. In her spare time, Mrs. Cotten enjoys movies, writing and laughing with friends and family.
