    Dawn Harkins is a professional singer/actress who has been seen on stage for a 2-year run as GrandMary as an adult actor with the American Girl Theater, sung internationally in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Japan, the Philippine Islands, China and France. Dawn has recorded 2 solo albums and is a graduate of the International Cabaret Conference at Yale University.

    Allison is delighted to be making her debut at Vero Voce in “MidLife.” A resident of Geneva, she has performed both professionally and with community theaters throughout Chicagoland, and most recently appeared as Violet in Summer Place Theater’s production of “9 to 5.” Other favorite roles include Dot in “Sunday in the Park with George,” Charlotte and Petra in “A Little Night Music,” Paula in “The Goodbye Girl,” Martha in “The Secret Garden,” Rhetta in “Pump Boys and Dinettes,” Charity in “Barnum,” and Lizzie in “Baby” (opposite Tony Calzaretta). Allison would like to thank Tony for the foot in the door, and Ed, Bryn and John for letting mom do her thing!

    Marie is excited to be a part of the MIDLIFE cast! She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, where she had the wonderful opportunity to play such roles as Carlotta in PHANTOM, Sara Jane Moore in ASSASSINS, and The Witch in HANSEL AND GRETEL.She has been teaching private voice for the past 15 years in and around the Chicago area. In addition to teaching, Marie has performed extensively with many theaters including Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Theatre at the Center, Light Opera Works,Porchlight Music Theatre, Steel Beam Theatre, and two consecutive seasons with Music Theatre of Wichita. Favorite performance credits include Maria in WEST SIDE STORY at Drury Lane Oakbrook, Aldonza in MAN OF LAMANCHA, Marsinah in KISMET, Sylvia in SWEETHEARTS, Anna Held in TINTYPES, and Sara Stone in NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY all at Light Opera Works, and Claudia in NINE with Porchlight Music Theatre (Jeff Recommended).
