as JoJo
Chloe Smith is excited to play the role of Jo Jo this year. She is in 7th grade and this will be her sixth musical. She was Young Elsa in Frozen, she was Flounder in The Little Mermaid, she was Young Kangaroo in Seussical, she was Grace Farrell in Annie,and she was also in many different characters in SpongeBob. When she is not on the stage, she enjoys cheer, volleyball, track, and being a part of her church’s worship and children’s church. Chloe is very excited to be a part of this year’s in production of Seussical!

Maddie Patrick
as The Cat In The Hat
Maddie Patrick is a 7th grade student at VGS. This is her 6th musical, and 2nd time being in Seussical. In 2023, she was Olaf in Frozen. In 2024, she was Lily St. Regis in Annie. At the high school, she was in The Little Mermaid as the Pilot, and was Perch Perkins in Spongebob The Musical. In her first Seussical production at SCC, she was a Who. However, she’s the Cat in the Hat this go around!

Isaiah Hensley
as Horton the Elephant
Seventh grader, Isaiah Hensley has wanted to be in Seussical since pre-K. He will be playing Horton, the Elephant. Isaiah has also played the roles of Rooster in Annie and Hans in Frozen. He is a sports loving kid. He plays basketball and baseball, runs both track and cross country, and is a black belt in Taekwondo. Last weekend, he ran the River to River Relay with his church team. He plays trumpet in the band. He is also the newly elected Illinois Junior Beta Club Vice President and will be running for National VP in July.
