Aislyn Ardleigh-Clark

Assistant Choreographer

Aislyn is 13 years old and going into 8th grade.  When not on stage, Aislyn can be found reading, writing, playing with her cats, or hanging out with friends. She wants to thank the cast and crew for making the show happen, and the audience for coming to support everyone!

Melissa Charles

Producing Artistic Director

Melissa Charles is the Founder and Producing Artistic Director of DMR Adventures. She has produced, directed, and choreographed over 100 productions. A member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA, Melissa performed in NYC, LA, and regional theaters, and played Lydia Ketcham on AMC's Turn: Washington’s Spies, now on Netflix.

Melissa served on the Virginia Theatre Association board, programming its first virtual festival. She co-founded the Belmont Arts Collaborative in 2017, co-created Musical Theatre MegaCamp in 2020, and produced ART ON MAIN, evolving into the River District Festival. She created DMR’s Youth Leadership Program, providing hands-on experience to nearly 100 students. Melissa holds a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University and a B.A. in Drama from UVA. She lives in Charlottesville, VA with her husband, Matt, and son, Cooper.

Stella Gelfand

Production Assistant

Stella is in 7th grade at Henley Middle School. This is her 13th show at DMR. She loves performing on stage, creating costumes, running the spotlight, and spending time with her theater friends. She is also a member of JTF and loves all things DMR!
