Xavier Taylor
Director/Music Director
Xavier Taylor is a local performer and singing teacher of everything from classical to rock. He is originally from Maryland and studied voice at New England Conservatory. Currently he is the choir teacher at the Village School and very glad to be continuing his work with DMR as a director (Finding Nemo JR, SpongeBob, Songs for a New World, Aladdin KIDS, Lion King KIDS), the director of the new All Stars Troupe, and Resident Music Director, as well as the Director of the All Stars Pre-Professional Program. Xavier recently adapted and wrote the music, lyrics and book of Abiyoyo, a Story-Song Musical, which was produced on Oct. 25 as a part of the CPG Wilsonian Soldier Symposium.

Nancy Paulson
Music Director
Nancy serves as coordinator for the DMR Pre-Professional Troupes, select DMR choral ensembles, and music director for multiple DMR musicals and summer camps. Additionally, she was the choir director at the Village School Middle School for 14 years. Nancy can't wait to see all the DMR performers shine.

Jack Scharrer
Choreographer
Jack Scharrer is a performer and choreographer originally from Lake Elmo, MN and is thrilled to be choreographing at DMR! Previously, he has served as Choreographer for Newsies JR, Finding Nemo JR, Mean Girls JR, and DMR's 2024 JTF piece, as well as working with students in the Pre-Pro Troupes and YAS! Thank you for sharing your students and their many talents with us!

Crystal Johnson
Stage Manager
Crystal is Charlottesville native and works for Charlottesville City Schools. She got her start at DMR because of her daughters love of Musical Theater. She has loved learning what it takes to put on a production.
