9 to 5: The Musical - March 27 - March 29, 2025

WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

 Who's Who

  • Kate Wardenburg (MSTP) head shot

    Kate Wardenburg (MSTP)

    as Violet Newstead

Kate is so grateful and excited to perform in her second Med School Musical! Collaborating with the amazing cast and crew has been such a special experience! Throughout rehearsals, Kate found it surprisingly easy to empathize with Violet’s frustration over being stuck, promotionless, in her job… but then again, Kate is in the middle of an MD/PhD program…

  • Kelly Schaschl (MD) head shot

    Kelly Schaschl (MD)

    as Doralee Rhodes

Kelly is a 3rd year MD student from St. Louis. This is her 3rd Med School Musical and you can bet your britches she's fixin' to enact some Cowgirl Revenge on Mr. Hart! She'd like to thank the wonderful cast and crew for their hard work and dedication and for helping her become the Backwoods Barbie she only dreamed she could be. Yeehaw!

  • Jaclyn Wright (MSTP) head shot

    Jaclyn Wright (MSTP)

    as Judy Bernly

Jaclyn is an MD-PhD student in the Immunology PhD program. She made her Med School Musical debut last year as Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors and is beyond excited to join this group for another year. In her free time, you can find Jaclyn working out at Orange Theory, reading fantasy books, and spending time with her two dogs (Izzy and Luna).

  • Philip Frasse (MD) head shot

    Philip Frasse (MD)

    as Franklin Hart, Jr.

Philip is a 4th year MD(+PhD) student who’s been with the musical since 2017 (Lumiere, Beauty & the Beast, 2017; Lord Farquaad, Shrek the Musical, 2019). After directing Little Shop for last year’s show, he’s excited to return to the stage! Next year, he’ll be starting OBGYN residency, and hopefully by the time you read this he’ll know which residency he matched to!

  • Carl Ho (MD) head shot

    Carl Ho (MD)

    as Dwayne

Carl is a first year med student who is so excited to perform in his first Med School Musical! When not "studying" in Becker, Carl spends his time cooking, making pottery, and most recently (and foolishly), listening to Wicked (specifically Dancing through Life) on repeat instead of literally any song in 9 to 5 in which he is a part of.
