 Who's Who

  • Piper Carrels head shot

    Piper Carrels

    as Grandma Addams

Piper is a senior who has been involved in theater since she was six years old, making this final show especially bittersweet. She has been a part of many productions at W-K, with favorites including: The Little Mermaid, Puffs, Matilda, High School Musical, and this year’s one-act play, Tough City, Prone to Rain. Piper loves the drama department for countless reasons. Her favorite is the community and all the amazing people. “We truly do become a family,” she says—and that’s what she’ll miss the most next year. Speaking of next year, Piper plans to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she will major in Communication Arts and Literature Education. She hopes to follow in the footsteps of her director and become an English teacher and theater director. Piper hopes you enjoy the show!

  • Zoey Day head shot

    Zoey Day

    as Morticia Addams

After six years of drama club, ten productions, and one stint backstage with Grumpy Old Men, Zoey is taking her final bow as the dark, dazzling matriarch herself—Morticia Addams. Whether she was dancing through High School Musical, reading books in Matilda, solving mysteries in WCKY, or casting spells in Puffs, Zoey has always brought magic to the stage. When she’s not gliding across the stage, Zoey stays busy with dance in the winter, track in the spring, and keeping her cross-country crew in line during the fall (as a manager, of course). She's always juggling something—but wouldn’t have it any other way! Her favorite part of the drama department? The incredible cast camaraderie, especially during that wild, sleep-deprived, snack-filled final week before curtain She hopes you laugh, gasp, and maybe even learn something strange and charming from The Addams Family. And above all... she hopes you profitez du spectacle (enjoy the show).

  • Jackson Dankwart head shot

    Jackson Dankwart

    as Explorer Ancestor

Jackson’s interests and activities include being with friends, climbing, and video games. This is Jackson's first play, and he has the role of the Explorer Ancestor. His favorite aspect of the drama department is how everyone is so close to each other, and there’s no animosity. Jackson plans on working as a solar panel installer for Knobblesdorff. His favorite part of this show is Fester, everything Fester.
