Directors Note
As I sit here in the audience, facing the stage and watching the sets being built and painted, and everyone doing their part. It makes my heart SING with excitement and pride! All these months of planning and rehearsing, not to mention dance, and before we know it- Opening Night is here.
There are so many wonderful, generous people who give so much of their time and talent to support the Wallkill High School “Panther Players”. So, I say “Thank you!” to Tom, Pete, George, John, Ron, Bernadette, Megan, Virginia, Hannah, Anita, Donnette, Christina, Orville, Maria, Kendra, Gretchen, Jessica and Donna. We couldn’t have done it without every single one of you!
Mark, you are my Right and Left hand man, and as Assistant Director you are my backbone and shoulders too! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart- My biggest supporter, nothing you do goes unnoticed. You are steadfast with your creative vision, and back it up with your talent and caring ways. Again, thank you!
Special shout-out to Lauren Cambalik, our alumni and Artistic Designer. All the way from her college dorm she designed our beautiful sets once again, what a vision you possess!And shout-out to Arianna, our fabulous student Pit Coordinator, a job well done! Thank you!
Now to my Cast, Crew and Pit,
What an amazing show you have turned out with this year, your hard work and patience has paid off- “BIG TIME!”. Between weather, scheduling problems and whatever else was thrown at us, we braved it all together. That’s what families do!
My heart is so full of love and admiration for you all, and I am so blessed to be your “Drama Mama”.Now go out there and show’em how it's done- (I want to see teeth!)
Always remember…and NEVER forget, I’m your biggest fan, now “Break a leg!”
