as Alex the Lion
Chapel is just absolutely thrilled to portray the role of the Alex for Madagascar Jr! This is his 5th year. In the past, Chapel has been in High School Musical Jr. He would like to thank big dawg Clay for convincing him to do the musical and Mrs. Whitney for continuing to work with him to grow as an actor and a person. His family helped a little too I guess.

André Rodriguez
as Marty the Zebra
André has always been a true theatre geek at heart, and is so happy to be playing Marty in Madagascar Jr. this year. They're in 7th grade and played Omar in last year's production of Aladdin. They have special talents such as performing entire musicals in their bathroom and being unhealthily obsessed with Hamilton. They would like to thank Lindsey Knowles for making sure they memorize their lines on time.

Saanvi Prasad
as Gloria the Hippo
Saanvi Prasad is so honored to be Gloria the hippo for Madagascar Jr! This is her fourth year being in a school musical and she has enjoyed it so much. In the past, Saanvi has been a lady in waiting in Once Upon a Mattress, Kratnoff in High School Musical, and an attendent in Aladdin. Saanvi has been in honor choir and she is also a part of the WBMS Chous program. She is so excited to play a lead for the first time ever. She would like to thank Ms. Goldstein for teaching her how to be a great singer. She would also like to thank her parents, Aditi Gokhale, Ms. Moran, Ms. Michelle, and Ms. Whitney for helping her build up her confiedence! Most importantly she would like to thank her brother, Ishant, who helped her memorzie her lines and music.
