There are a few people I would especially like to thank for their contributions to the show:
- Max Bush for his surpise phone call and kindness during his visit to our rehearsal a few weeks ago. It is not often that high school actors get the chance to meet the playwright of the show they are performing and it was an incredible experience for the students! We are honored to have him in our audience.
- Tim Gasper for not only building us a treasure chest in 3 days but finding us the real logs you see as set pieces, as well as our "hollow tree."
- Molly Bergman for her help drawing bushes. I cannot draw, and she offered, so here we are. :)
- Carolyn Hathaway, Kelli Pelak, and Emilee Lowell for letting the fairies borrow their bells :)
- The parents of the cast and crew for going with the flow and sharing their kids with me, especially in the rush of the past two weeks!
- The staff of the box office and PAC for working with me to make sure everything came together as it should.
It is so wonderful to be back on stage, under the lights and in front of a real audience! After nearly two years, it truly holds a feeling of coming home. I am so proud of this cast and the work they have put in to bringing this show about! Every single moment is worth it for me to see them bring the story to life with people watching it unfold in real time.
And finally, thank you to you, audience member, for purchasing a ticket and attending this production. With out a parent boosters group, ticket sales are how we make money for our program.
