    Sara Golding-Bianco, Ed.D.

    Dr. Sara Golding-Bianco is a digital learning instructional coach and music educator who has dedicated 21 years to teaching in Norwalk. Her deep connection to the community is evident as she is a graduate of Norwalk HS. She holds a B.S. in Music Ed. & a M.S. in Music Ed. from WCSU. She earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the Univ. of Bridgeport.

    At WRMS, she has produced and directed the annual musical for the last 15 years. Her involvement extends beyond WRMS, as she serves as the Asst. Director of the Norwalk HS Band & Color Guards. A highlight of her career is witnessing the enthusiasm & dedication of the students who participate in Drama each year. She considers herself fortunate to be able to create lasting memories that shape students' educational experience. Her commitment to music education and leadership in the arts demonstrates a passion for providing enriching experiences that will stay with students throughout their lives.

    Stephanie Zavala, Director

    Stephanie Zavala is overjoyed to serve as the Co-Director at WRMS, where she dedicates herself to guiding students in nurturing their passion for performance. Beginning her journey in theatre with roles in productions like "The Music Man," "The Little Mermaid," and "The Addams Family," Stephanie has also gained valuable experience working behind the scenes in productions such as "Aladdin Jr,” “Shrek Jr,” and “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” After completing her degree at Mitchell College, Stephanie works at WRMS as a Dual Language Social Studies teacher. Stephanie aspires to build a career in education, drawing upon valuable lessons learned on and off the stage to inspire and educate students. Grateful to Dr. Sara Golding for providing her with the opportunity to continue working in musical theatre, she is thrilled to be part of the vibrant West Rocks Middle School community and eagerly looks forward to sharing her passion for the arts with the next generation.
