The Wild Party (Lippa) - July 23 - July 25, 2021

The Sandbox Summer Rep series would not be possible without the generous support of many people who work behind the scenes at the Sandbox, as well as organizations in our area that help keep theatre thriving.

We are so grateful to the JCC of Mid-Westchester and especially to Rika Levin and Susan Groner for the opportunity to work in the beautiful Bendheim. Our partnership with the JCC continues to thrive because of the support and dedication of these women and the incredible staff at the JCC.

As set designers, technical wizards, and all-around good guys, both Steve Loftus and Zachary Dore have helped us tremendously this summer. From last minute lighting assistance to much needed storage, there is no end to their generosity and talents.

Yon Zweibon and her fantastic staff at Beyond Costumes are local treasures. Most of the theatre in Westchester would not be properly costumed if not for the work of Yon and her amazing stock!

Daryl Bornstein has helped us exponentially over the last few months, ensuring that our shows sound the best they can while also providing expert advice and support every step of the way. (And thank you Laura Brauner for taking on The Wild Party at Daryl's request - we are so appreciative!)

When you choose a show like The SpongeBob Musical that is so brand new no one has created costumes for it yet, it becomes essential to have a brilliant visionary like Maya Evans on board. Her continued creativity and positive attitude are a welcome breath of fresh air to the Sandbox!

Our guest director, Emily Esposito, took on the challenge of The Wild Party with flair, a strong creative vision, and a passion that we love to see! We are beyond thrilled to welcome Emily to the Sandbox family.

Though you will get to see her fabulous work as a choreographer this year, it is all the work that Susan Maysonet does behind the scenes that really makes us want to give her a standing ovation. She is a gem who helps keep us all sane and makes magic every time she steps through our doors.

And finally, to all the performers in this year's shows. We would not be here if it weren't for your talent, commitment, and support of the Sandbox. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
