The Addams Family - April 19 - April 21, 2018

Westlake High School

    Seniors

Josh Olivas (Mal) Josh has been in the Westlake Theatre Department for three years and has been in many shows, his favorite being "Grease." Josh is a future Marine with a passion for performing arts. He loves the friends he has made while being in the department.

Veronica Miller (Ancestor/Hair) Veronica Miller, Shakespeare’s biggest fan, has transformed from a servant to a cross-dresser to a fairy queen to being covered head to toe in her time at Westlake. She looks forward to continue working in the entertainment industry as an actor or in hair and costuming. She loves the fact that her teacher loves Shakespeare just as much so they can bond on that.

Brianna McCarthy (Grandma) Brianna has been in seven shows at Westlake High since she moved here her sophomore year. For her senior year she wanted to go out with a bang, and being able to play Grandma Addams has definitely fulfilled that dream. She plans on continuing theatre in college next year.

Alexa Kasparian (Assistant Director) Alexa has been in theatre for three years and has been in seven shows at Westlake. Playing "Winkie #2" was her favorite role, and she will never forget the euphoria she felt embodying that character.

Maddy Croall (Ancestor) Maddy Croall is a pink-haired legend who towers over all the students. She has been in theater for only two years but has enjoyed her experiences. She was in "Midsummer Night's Dream" and "The Addams Family," along with costuming in "Twelfth Night." She will attend Washington State University and major in Communications at the Murrow College of Communications. She loves the amazing friends she's made in theater and will miss them very much.

Gentry Peeples  (Head Costumer/Cousin Itt) Gentry Peeples may look like a 14-year-old freshman, yet she is the 5’ fun-sized senior costumer of the Westlake Theatre Department. She has participated in every show for all four years of high school, including acting in eleven, face painting/special effects in five, and costuming in eight. Her acting career ends Saturday night, yet Cousin Itt will forever be her peak in high school. She sincerely thanks her costuming minions for sticking with her, despite her blaring country music during rehearsal. Lastly, look out for footprints in the closet and don’t forget to feed Paula.

Annabella Martinez  (Makeup) As Annabella Martinez's theatre career has been classified as a fairy and makeup artist, the memories and laughs are endless! She'd like to thank Liz and Gerard for supporting her and her schedule.

Tamarra Sylber  (Audio Engineer) Tamarra Sylber entered the world of technical theatre when she was twelve years old, and suddenly her life changed forever. Over the years black took over her wardrobe, her iTunes filled with SFX albums, and if she wasn't at school, she was at the theatre painting, editing, or writing cues in her script. Tamarra is beyond thrilled to announce she will continue to study technical theatre at CLU as a VAPA Scholar. She wishes to dedicate everything that she has accomplished to her ever supportive mother, and her amazing teacher and mentor, Ms. Krisch.

Ana Carolina Marin  (Stage Manager)  Ana Carolina Marin, also known as the happy-go-lucky Brazilian, joined the Technical Theatre class not knowing how it would change her life. She worked on more than six Westlake Theatre productions and stage-managed two of the main productions. She leaves Westlake with a huge sense of accomplishment and will attend Moorpark College for Film and Television. She seeks something bigger and hopes to be successful. She wants to thank Elizabete and Edward for the support throughout her high school years and Ms. Krisch for always being there for her. She also thanks her tech friends for being amazing and wishes them luck for the upcoming years.
