Theater for Young Audiences is an important addition to the Wheaton North Performing Arts program. These shows are specifically designed to appeal to elementary school children, who may never have seen a play before.  Putting on these shows is how we light the spark for our future theater kids and build a lifelong love for the performing arts.  Our current students remember seeing shows at Wheaton North and couldn’t wait until they could perform on the big stage. These students have put so much love and dedication into this performance and they cannot wait to share this magical journey with you.  

For this production of Frozen JR, we are privileged to have talented young actors, from our local elementary schools, join the cast.  We had an amazing turn out for live and recorded auditions from these young actors, who were excited to share the stage with our high school students. Our young actors came to rehearsal at the Wheaton North in the afternoons, after having been at their full day of school.  They have worked so hard to bring their own sparkle to this production and we are proud of them.  It is exciting to see theatre kids of all ages working together and learning from each other.  We hope this production shows more students how magical theatre can be.
