I wish…to thank the following:
We want to recoginize that this show is a miracle. What was completely impossible is happening before your eyes. Every time we hit a wall, someone helped us. Theater is the art of community, and ours created something we hope you will truly enjoy.
Thank you so much to our gracious hosts at Pentacle Theatre. Lisa, Chris, Sean, Scott, and Quinn: you all made so many sacrifices, offered so much help and expertise. The example you set for our cast will be remembered forever. Pentacle Theatre is a special place and it’s full of the very best people.
Thank you to the administration at Sprague High School, especially Principal Barkes and Amber Reeves. An extra heartfelt thank you to Chris Allen, Dustin, Jordan, and the rest of the custodial team at Sprague. We could not have done this without you!
Thank you to the Latter Day Saint Church for the use of your building for practices. Thank you to the Decker family for your warm hospitality and barn! A further note of appreciation to the Deckers for always looking for those ways to quietly help without expecting any notice.
Thank you to all the parents and family who stepped up to support their students and this show! A special thanks to those who agreed to be committee chairs.
Thank you to Susan Schoaps of Pentacle Theatre and Alyssa Bond and Brenda Jensen of North Salem High School Drama Department for your generous loan of costumes. Ali, you did so much to help make this show beautiful, thank you!
Thank you to Diane Allen and West Albany High School for the generous loan of a cow as white as milk, a hen that lays golden eggs, a magic harp and many other helps. The quest was well worth it!
So much appreciation for all those who came to help us late in our rehearsal process. Our lighting crew and sound crew were amazing in mentoring us and enriching the theatrical experience. Loriann Schmidt and Joshua Knowles, you have spent an amazing amount of time, and we so appreciate your expertise and kindness.
Thank you to our rehearsal pianists, Mindy Kleinman and Marnee Clark for your kindness and patience with Stephen Sondheim and his 6 sharps.
Especially to our families: currently composed of theater widows, widowers, and orphans…we love you and we’ll be out of the wood and home before dark!
Allison, Carrie, cast and crew
