White Christmas - November 14 - November 23, 2014

William Jessup University

 End Notes

Notes from the Director,

All of us have family traditions during the holidays, and one of those traditions is, of course, watching our favorite Christmas movies. For me and my family, White Christmas has always been one of our special holiday movie traditions. What a privilege it is to get to produce such a fantastic Christmas tradition on the stage at William Jessup University. I hope that this production is a wonderful experience for the whole family that can kick off your Christmas season in a very special way.

White Christmas is a production that is a Christmas card come to life, but the story is so much more than that. The heart of this story lies in selflessly giving to those who are in need... or blessing those who have done so much to bless others. General Waverly and what he stands for is a stark reminder that, while we sleep in the safety of our homes during the holidays, there are men and women who have served, and are serving on the front  lines of the armed services as well as local law enforcement, to keep us safe.

We are using this production to bless our veterans. I ask that you think about purchasing a veterans wrist band during intermission and/or choose to donate to our veterans as a way to give a little back to those who have fought and are fighting so bravely for each of us.

Thank you for choosing William Jessup's production of White Christmas to kick of your holiday season, be blessed, and may all your Christmases be white!

In Him,

Derek
