Frozen Jr. - May 18 - May 21, 2022

Windsor High

   Directors Letter

Originally Frozen Jr. was supposed to be performed in the Fall of 2020. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic we had to cancel our show of Grease in the hopes of returning in the Fall for Frozen Jr.. Unfortunately as we all know the Pandemic lasted into early 2022, therefore we weren't able to return to performing until December of 2021, our first semester with Frozen Jr.. Last year Mrs. Beatty, ourselves, and the graduating seniors decided on the show, we all wanted to do Frozen Jr., then the question became of what to do in the Spring. Eventually we all realized that the answer was to rebuild the theatre program by doing Frozen Jr. both semesters.

As friends and Co-Directors, we've worked countless hours at school and home, together and seperate, sometimes with more of the production team, and for many things we just said we'd do it to help the show!

"It has been the honor of a life time to direct this show, this show, for me started back in spring of 2020 when I first heard we would be doing it. To have this opportunity is a dream coming true and something I have worked for, for the last 9 years! To 1st Block, y'all were the first time I had fun performing in years, you taught me that I have to let go and laugh and it's safe to do that around the right people! To 4th Block, while I wasn't cast in this class, as I wanted to focus on directing, it was an amazing ride with many seniors, most I've known since elementary school, and to those seniors and everyone else in the class, Thank you! "Goodbyes are not forever, they are not the end, they simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again, my friends" I'm not perfect and I thank each and every person who has pointed out my flaws and short-comings to help and let me better myself, "Because I knew you, I have been changed For Good!"- Wicked. Thank you, every one of you!"- John M. Post

"Getting to direct a group of wondering kids is the greatest gift. They are smart and very talented. I wouldn’t ask for a better group. They make my day ten times better. Although we did have a couple of hard times, they always came around and surprised me like always. I am going to miss having a great time them everyday. I’m very excited to get to have a few of them next year for my senior year. They have grown so much. At the start almost none of them would even get out of their seats. Now I believe this is one of their favorite classes. I’m so great full to be called their director, their mentor, and most importantly their friend. I love them all dearly. I will always cherish the fun and loving memories."- Maggie Meynardie
