“I hear America singing.” The very first words you hear as our show begins. We (America) are always at our best when we can lift each other up, recognize each others’ inherent and immense worth, and celebrate each other.
Needless to say, in the last 15 months we have faced enormous challenges, loss, and hardships. Through it all, we have seen every day workers become heroes – giving of themselves to keep America “singing”. This show is for them and for us, to serve as a reminder that we can and should celebrate each other.
I would like to thank the local businesses and others who offered their restaurants, hotel lobbies, long haul rigs, UPS trucks, office spaces, and more to help us create an innovative, on-location performance. They, too, have lifted us up so we can create art for you.
