Hi Everyone-

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming to my family

production. Black People Problems was a passion product of mine for a very long

time. I’ve always wanted to write something stellar, since I was 15 years old

because my family is tight-nit and I love them dearly. I couldn’t have done this

without them, literally. I also couldn’t have done this without my supporters.

Because of you, I am motivated to continue my work in theatre and film. It is my

heart’s desire to inspire through my gifts and talents. By showing up today, you all

have shown me that I’ve succeeded and have accomplished my mission. For so

long, I have been told what I can and cannot do, what rules I need to follow, what

restrictions and limitations I must adhere to. But when you keep the faith and do

what you need to do anyway, your dreams and goals will manifest in God’s timing.

I’m thankful for my ancestors whose stories I will continue to tell and I thank them

for their presence and protection. Ashé!
