Claire Simard
as Director
Claire Simard has been teaching at Wooster for 12 years, where she shares her love of theatre and music with students and is lucky to see her own kids, Amelie and Gabe, grow here too. A singer, actress, pianist, and music director, Claire has also worked with A.C.T. of CT, Musicals at Richter, and Ridgefield Theatre Barn. She’s grateful to the Wooster community for their support and encouragement and couldn’t be prouder of this cast and crew for their hard work and dedication.

Andy has called the Black Box at Wooster a favorite place for twenty-five years, first volunteering when her kids (Pat, Will, Molly and Jack) were students, then choreographing, teaching acting, and directing. Before children, she appeared in two Broadway shows (Barnum and Raggedy Ann), at Radio City, and in numerous Off and Off-Off Broadway productions. After Jack went to kindergarten, she toured New England in a one-woman show called Books Alive! She is married to the love of her life, actor Joe Barrett.

Marley Dixon
as Bessie
Marley Dixon is a senior this year, stepping into the role of Bessie the cow in the fall play. Throughout her high school journey, she has portrayed characters like Miss Scarlet in CLUE, Kafka/Al in All In The Timing, and Sanchéz/Mack in Peter and the Starcatcher. As this marks her final production at Wooster, she feels sad to leave the black box and the memories created there. Special thanks to her dad for attending EVERY single show MULTIPLE times over the years.
