Jolene Vettese
Director
Jolene Vettese (she/her) has been involved with professional and community theater as a director, choreographer, and performer for 30+ years. She attended Syracuse University, interning at the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA during her summers, attending Syracuse University in London for a semester, and graduating with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Jolene has directed for Workhouse, Reston Community Players, and other youth theater programs in the DC area. She is also an active judge for VHSL and Virginia Thespians. Jolene has performed with Smithsonian’s Discovery Theater, NextStop Theatre Company, Workhouse, Stagecoach Theatre Company, as well as numerous community theaters in the area. She would like to thank her amazing family for their never ending love and support.

Merissa Anne Driscoll
Music Director
Merissa Anne Driscoll - Music Director: This is Merissa's 9th mainstage production with The Lorton Workhouse since their inaugural run of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" in 2012. Since then, the Workhouse has become her creative home. Working as Music Director, Performer, Vocal Coach, Set/Prop Builder, chalk artist and general handy-gal, she can be seen at any given time, bopping around campus, looking for the next project. Merissa also runs her own teaching studio for voice and piano in Dumfries, VA.

Ariel Kraje
Choreographer
Ariel Kraje (she/her) is a freelance performer, choreographer, and teaching artist in the DMV area. Performance credits include Synetic Theater: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), The Madness of Poe (Ensemble), Dracula (Wives Understudy); Workhouse Arts Center: Urinetown (Robby the Stockfish/Associate Choreographer/Dance Captain/Swing), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Wendy/Dance Captain). Choreography credits include The Mason Players: 9 to 5: the Musical, The Boy Detective Fails, The Mason Cabaret 2020-2022; Mason Opera: Cendrillon, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Die Fledermaus; and Alexandria City High School: Sister Act. Ariel has also assistant directed/choreographed Twelfth Night and Taming of the Shrew (Synetic Theater’s Teen Company). Ariel received her B.F.A. in Theater with a concentration in Musical Theater from George Mason University. She would like to thank her friends and family for their constant support!
