Carol Damgen
Director
holds an MFA in Writing for the Performing Arts from the University of California, Riverside and is a fulltime faculty member with California State University, San Bernardino’s Theatre Arts department. She has won nine ITL Awards for Acting, Directing, Playwriting and Scene Design. As a freelance director she has presented many modern and classic productions, such as: Almost, Maine, Becky’s New Car, Charlotte’s Web, A Christmas Carol, God of Carnage, Hauptman, Is He Dead?, Private Lives, The Hobbit, The Hollow, The Music Man and To Kill a Mockingbird to name a few. She has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1996, is the Vice Chair for the National Playwrighting program for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and a resident artist with the repertory company-Redlands Theatre Festival. As a writer, Carol had her two original shows, The Twists and Turns of Edgar Allan Poe and Jackie Robinson: An American Dream produced at CSUSB.
