Notes from the Director....
I would like to thank the following people whom without their help and support this year and many other years, this play would not be able to happen:
Kalista Stoddard for driving almost an hour each way to volunteer her time to help with rehearsals. Thank you for eagerly willing to offer your time!
Greta Bohn, who despite opening her own business just as this play was taking off, managed to maintain commitments she made to help with the show. From Dorothy to business woman, I am so proud of your work ethic!
Chloe Davenport for being so willing to grab a paintbrush when called upon. With a stroke of a brush you make the things beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Denise, you promised last year I could lean on and you did not let me down. Thank you so much for all the things you did to help make this show happen. From calling venues to getting the risers (although Greta told us that was ALL HER), you have been someone I can really count on. Thank you.
Kim DeRemer, despite the boys not being able to make it this year, you still actively tried to find us a venue. Thank you so much for the time you took for us!
PJ and Molly DeLong - without your help at rehearsals, many of our cast members would not have been able to go to their camps, and vacations. Thank you for stepping in despite not being able to be with us for the performances. You are definitely missed and we look forward to performing with you next year!
Rosalynn Gottschall, every single year you are the first to step forward and say, HOW CAN I HELP? You endure heat, tired little kids, and with patience are there to be thrown in wherever i need you. There are not enough words to express my gratitude.
Alicia Sutton, thank you for being my focus when my scattered brain misses the details that make things run so smoothly. When I hit overwhelm, you were right there to make sure nothing was getting missed, and you do it with patience and care. Thank you for all you do for this play, for me and for this community!
The Bohn family, for always coming in clutch with the manual labor and scaffolding to put these shows together. Thank you for always sharing your summers with the library!
I know I forgot so many people, because lets be honest - things like this cannot happen without the support of parents, grandparents, and friends who jump in to pick something up from a store, take kids to rehearsals and bring me treats. So thank you to all of you who make this happen and put up with my old scattered brain in the process.
Bless you all!
