Perry Lee
Director, Choreography
Perry studied at American Dramatic Academy for musical theatre. While in L.A., he trained with Jonathan Ingstrom, choreographer for a National Tour of 42nd Street and Chryssie Whitehead of the Broadway Revival of A Chorus Line (Kristine, “Sing!”). Since then he has choreographed and directed numerous shows at local schools, the Kroc Center, as well as YAT and has won the National Youth Arts award for "Outstanding Choreography". As an actor, Perry has performed all over San Diego for companies such as The Welk Resort, Starlight Theatre and Lambs Players Theatre. In addition, he founded the award winning A Cappella Group "SoundWave" at San Diego State University. Ultimately, he would like to thank Jean Isaac and everyone at Young Actors' Theatre who have helped him grow as a person, performer and director.

Matthew Ignacio
Musical Director
Matthew is thrilled to musically direct his 10th YAT production! His previous show credits include Grease, Peter Pan, Little Shop of Horrors, & The Music Man, for which he received an NYA award for Outstanding Musical Direction. Matthew cantors at churches all over San Diego: All Hallows (La Jolla), Good Shepherd (Mira Mesa) and at St. John of the Cross in Lemon Grove where he co-directs the Youth Choir. Matthew also currently sings with San Diego’s professional choral ensemble SACRA/PROFANA. He would like to thank the awesome cast, crew, production team, & parents for all their hard work and dedication to Spring Awakening!
