Katie Wallace
Director and Choreographer
Katie Wallace is a San Diego based director, choreographer, and dance instructor. Her passion for tap and contemporary dance enriches her unique approach to storytelling. She has worked artistically with multiple theaters and studios across San Diego county, currently works at La Jolla Playhouse, but will always call Young Actors' Theatre home. Some of her favorite credits include: Muppets Camp, 13 The Musical (YAT), Guys & Dolls (WHHS), Thoroughly Modern Millie (CPH), & West Side Story (YAT).

Mary Rose Vadeboncoeur
Music Director
Mary Rose Vadeboncoeur is thrilled to be making her debut as a Musical Director in Descendants! She has been performing on the YAT stage since their 2012 production of Annie and even now, 10 years later, she sees YAT as a second home. In 2019 she was named “Best Actress” at the Broadway San Diego Awards and later went on to compete in the Jimmy Awards in New York City. She is currently working towards her BA in Theatre Performance at SDSU and can be seen performing at both Sea World and Sesame Place. Select performance credits include Eponine (Les Miserables), Maria (Sound of Music), Mrs. Wormwood (Matilda), and Katherine Blake (Freaky Friday). Mary Rose has experienced many firsts here at YAT; first full-length musical, first cabaret, first time working on the tech side of things and running a show, and now her first time as Music Director! She thanks Katie, Alicia, and the entire cast and crew for including her on this journey! @maryrose_vad13

Alicia Campen
Stage Manager
Alicia Campen grew up on the stage performing and working behind the scenes. She gave up her theatrical aspirations to pursue other avenues in college but has always loved theater. Alicia has 3 kids and has spent lots of time as a stage parent. She is excited to work on the Descendants and is looking forward to a great show.
