Dare to Dream, jr. - November 06 - November 16, 2025

Young Actors' Theatre

 A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Welcome to Young Actors' Theatres Production of Dare To Dream Jr.!

This show is a celebration of 100 years of Disney Magic. Our story follows a group of curious and creative students who wish to become Disney Imagineers - the dreamers, designers, and innovators who turn imagination into reality. Through them, we explore how the magic of storytelling, music, and creativity can inspire generations to dream big.

What makes this production especially exciting is that many of the Disney songs featured in Dare to Dream Jr. have never before been performed on stage. From the early classics that shaped our childhoods to modern favorites that continue to spark new dreams, these songs remind us of the timeless power of hope, courage, and creativity.

Throughout the show you’ll also hear the voice of Walt Disney himself - his words are literally spoken through the dialogue of our characters. His optimism, curiosity, and belief in the impossible continue to guide this story. Walt once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it” - That spirit shines brightly in every moment of this show.

Working with this remarkable cast has been a true honor. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and imagination have brought new life to every lyric and dance step. Watching them grow in confidence and artistry has been both inspiring and deeply rewarding for our entire team.

Christine would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Kailee for her remarkable music direction, Marc for his wonderful choreography, and Miles for his excellence in Stage Management. Additionally, she thanks Maddie & Ruby for being delightful, hardworking student assistants. Christine is deeply grateful to the parent volunteers for their countless hours of support - this production truly could not happen without you. She would like to thank Wendy Kwasny for her incredible painting of our set. Wendy does not have a child in our cast, yet volunteered her time and talent to this production. Last, but certainly not least, she thanks her husband Jerry for his unending support in all of her creative endeavors.

Thank you for being here to support youth theatre and for celebrating creativity with us. May this performance remind you - just as it reminds all of us - to keep dreaming, keep believing - and never stop imagining.
