Sebastian Salas

as Nathan Detroit

Sebastian is 13 years old and in 8th Grade. This is only his 2nd production with YSMT with his previous role being Doody, in Grease. He would like to thank his parents for all the sacrifices they do for him, and Ms. Lexy and Ms. Shamaine for giving him the opportunity to hold the dual roles of “Sky Masterson” and “Nathan Detroit”.
Nate Childers

as Sky Masterson

Nate is in 8th grade and is thankful for every opportunity that YSMT has given him. At YSMT he has performed as Corny Collins in Hairspray, Eugene in Grease, & Tin Man in The Wiz (all in 2021!). He has also performed with Ice House Theatre. Nate would like to thank his family for their love & support, as well as Mason, James, & Sebastian for sharing these 2 roles with him, and the amazing cast for another great show!
James Holton

Nathan Detroit

James is in 11th grade, before YSMT he only preformed in Into the Woods, with YSMT he has been Capt. Hook in Peter Pan at the Dr. Phillips Center, Kaneki in Grease, and a Swing in Hairspray. He would like to thank his family for always pushing him to be the most entertaining person he could be, both on and off stage. He doesn’t thank his twin Olivia though, “she sucks.”
Mason Lord

Sky Masterson

Mason is in 9th grade and has previously been in YSMT's Hairspray at the Front Yard (DPAC) and as Rodger in Grease. He has also done theatre with the Garden Theatre and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Mason would like to thank his family, friends, and two cats for supporting his interest in theatre.
Molly Shimel

as Sarah Brown

Molly is a freshman and Guys & Dolls is her first full upper-school production at Young Star Musical Theatre. She played Alice in The Addams Family, and has performed in a small comedy play, Frozen Jr., and Honk! Jr. She has also been in multiple commercial shoots. Molly is thankful for all her friends and family who have supported her unconditionally!
