Frozen Jr. - May 16 - May 17, 2024

Zion Lutheran School (Lake Stevens, WA)

 Acknowledgements

These students have worked tirelessly to bring you Frozen Jr. They have persevered and truly put forth their best efforts! My first and most heartfelt thank you is to each student, backstage and onstage, who committed to be in the musical. You learned lines, songs, dances and set up/take down. There is no way the show would have been the same without each one of you.

Drama Parents: thank you for letting your kids be in this year's musical and for keeping up with the practice schedules. Also for providing so many snacks and treats for students, a much-needed fuel! A special thank you to Jill Jurvakainen, Heidi VanDuine, Charissa Keller, and Carrie LaMotte for the meals provided!

Nicole vonTrotha: Planning the backdrops and planning and executing so many costumes! Tirelessly working on painting, stapling, sewing all things Frozen related. Continually tracking down costume pieces, updating and creating new pieces so our cast could look authentic.

Delanie Saylor: Assembling props, helping with choreography, helping with costumes, lobby decorating, being my sounding board for ideas, filling in and getting all the odds and ends, staying with me into the late hours to get everything done, and ensuring I was fed and caffeinated. And so so much more!

Katie vonTrotha: Working with students on songs and helping build up their confidence. Helping with costume pieces and spending hours painting the backdrops. Being available to help oversee practices and corralling students all while allowing us to disrupt your classroom to become our sidestage.

Annadea Olsen: Putting together the play program, organizing cast photo forms, t-shirt order forms, candy grams, concessions, Italian sodas and generally keeping me organized and on track.

Zoyia Perry and Nick Saylor: Recording the evening musical performances.

Rebecca Chilson and Ella Jeffrey  Taking photos at the performances

Myah Curlott: Assembling and painting props and helping with costumes.

LiNa Mylan: Running the soundboard and the mics for practices and performances.

Ashley Hayter: Painting sets and assisting with sound management.

Peter Martin: For assisting with sound, mics, and being flexible with the needs of the musical.

Jen Olesen and Brock Wolitarsky: Helping oversee students not involved in the musical.

Shannon Stauffer: For donating countless hours of painting sets.

Evan Churlin: For his flexibility and sharing the gym space with drama.

Tina Shelton: Being patient and flexible with cleaning the gym as the schedule changed and for her and Josef’s work on the sets.

Savannah Bakki- Helping with choreography and painting sets.

Zion Staff: Being patient and flexible as the musical took over the schedule and the gym.

I know more people have contributed to our production and I apologize if I didn’t get your name here. Please know that you are greatly appreciated.
