Brian Witternberg - Director
Brian (he/him) is originally from Johns Creek and is an alumnus of Chattahoochee High School and the Musical Theatre program, and he is thrilled to return this year as the theatre director for the school. He has worked professionally as both a performer and director across the country. As an artist, he is fiercely dedicated to leaning into hope so that we as a community can make tangible changes to the world through the power of storytelling. Previous acting credits include Next to Normal (Henry), The Secret Garden, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfee), Mamma Mia!, Working, Hairspray (Wilbur Turnblad), A Little Night Music (Henrik Egerman), The Jungle Book, You Can’t Take It With You (Mr. DePinna). Next up, Brian will be performing in a remount of the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre and Atlanta Lyric Theatre’s Next to Normal in February and directing the Advanced Acting class’s production of Our Town in March. Ty Autry - Choreographer
Ty Autry; (he/they) After growing up in the Deep South, Ty made his way to Atlanta to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering at Georgia Tech. After graduating summa cum laude, he decided to become an apprentice at Georgia Ensemble Theatre and then went to New York City to continue training at Atlantic Acting School. Today, he is a producer, playwright, and a creatively growing actor based in Atlanta. Jennie Fabianski - Music & Pit Director
Jennie is beyond excited to be in year 16 here at Chattahoochee & has put on over 50 shows in her time here at Hooch. After growing up in Dalton, GA, Jennie went on to pursue her Bachelor's & Masters Degrees from Reinhardt University. Since then, she has been leading music teachers & students to excellence on stage and in the classroom. Over her career, herself and the musical theatre program have recieved over 30 Shuler nominations and honorable mentions. Jennie is looking forward to getting back in the pit (thanks to Brian!) and has enjoyed working on shows like The Addams Family, Cabaret, Mamma Mia, Sweeney Todd & Little Shop of Horrors. She has been a teacher of the year finalist 3 of the last 4 years and greatly enjoyed working for Amazon Studios on the series Do, Re & Mi last summer. She would like to thank Brian, Ty, Matt and all the students that make every day amazing & keep her laughing. She would also like to thank her family, friends, her incredible husband Kevin, and her 3 kids, Liam, Owen & Evelyn.
Matt Crisman - Assistant Pit Director
Saxophonist Matthew Crisman has been awarded multiple titles in the ranks of competitive professional music in the arenas of solo performance, chamber music and wind band performance. As a private educator, Crisman has instructed multiple All State caliber young saxophonists from 6th-12th grade. His goal of musical literacy and achievement has led him to his current position as Associate Director of Bands at Chattahoochee High School, where he instructs daily alongside veteran educators of similar mindset. Crisman currently serves in the Atlanta Wind Symphony and maintains memberships with, Georgia Music Educator’s Association, National Association for Music Education, and the North American Saxophone Alliance.
Ella Toth - Assistant Director
Ella is a Senior at Chattahoochee and is so excited for this to be her 11th show at Chattahoochee! She would like to thank ALL the directors and choreographers that have taught and helped her so much through out these years! And especially a HUGE thank you to Mrs. Fabianski for all the opportunities and support these past 4 Years! Enjoy the show!!
