Elizabeth Bates
as Alina / Princess 5
Ellie Bates is hyped to be on stage as Atina (the purple mersister) this year! She also will be dancing as a shimmery fish and couldn’t be happier to be spending her senior year under the sea with this cast. Theatre has been a piece of Ellie’s personality puzzle since 5th-grade whenshe performed in The Jungle Book at Edgeworth Elementary. Along with being on stage, Ellie spends her time as a photographer and editor of the yearbook, a 4-year letterman on the trackteam, and as the sports/layout editor of the Quaker Quill. As much as she loves singing showtunes, Ellie will be leaving the musical world to pursue sports business at Geneva College, where she will also run track. Ellie sends massive thanks to Wolford, Mike, Mara, Carly, Mr.Burgh, Mrs. Forrest, Mr. Harrah, Mr. Dado, Ms. Christensen, Wolford’s parents for the castdinner, and whoever hosts the cast party- lord knows you’re the best for hosting us after closingnight. Love you all so so much.
Charlie Crane
as Pilot / Chef Louis
Charlie Crane is very excited to be playing Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid, although dismayed that it will be his last high school theater role. He has also been a part of the ensemble in Shrek and Bye Bye Birdie and played Max and Pop in last year’s The Pajama Game, with the former two shows being his favorites so far to have performed in. His other school activities include marching band and vocal ensemble, which he’s done for the past three years. Outside of school, Charlie enjoys other musical endeavors like playing the guitar and the viola, and he also likes to write music, play video games, watch hockey, and cook. He plans on attending some post-secondary institution to study engineering or related fields. Charlie would like to thank his family, friends, girlfriend, cast and crewmates, and everyone on the production staff (especially Mr. Wolford, Mike and Mara Greer, Mrs. Forrest, and Mr. and Mrs. Burgh) for supporting him on his musical theater path.
