Reid Watson
Director
is a NYC-based theatre artist. He earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University. He is a YoungArts Winner in Theater through the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, selected out of thousands. Reid has staged productions of Xanadu, Seussical, A Year with Frog and Toad, Little Women, School House Rock, Legally Blonde, and more. As a performer, he has performed in over one hundred musicals at Maine State Music Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Fracture Theatre Company, Virginia Samford Theatre, Red Mountain Theatre Company, and more. He can be seen on HBO in Master Class with Patti LuPone. Most recently, he played Fipp in the off-broadway revival of Urinetown at the American Theatre of Actors. This summer, he is looking forward to directing Into the Woods. He is thankful to have an artistic home at 87Afterschool.
