    Roberta Burke is an actress/vocal storyteller/dancer. She is also a Fort Lauderdale native and a Dillard High School alum. Roberta studied musical theater at Carnegie Mellon University. She has worked at the Oregon Shakespeare Theater Festival (Ruined, The Merchant of Venice, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Chicago Shakespeare Theater (Peter Pan), The Goodman Theater (A Christmas Carol), Firebrand Theater (Caroline or Change), and many others. Roberta’s first theater job was at ARLCC’s first Summer Arts Camp. In her off time,  you can find Roberta hanging with her beautiful niece, Amour, or at home watching movies with the love of her life. She dedicates this performance to anyone who has given up on their dream. Fight for your dream because they do come true.

    Gigi’s acting career began in the mid 80’s performing in Spoon River Anthology and The Grass Harp in Mobile, Alabama. Since relocating to Miami, she has performed iconic roles such as Harriett Tubman, Fannie Lou Hamer, Zora Neale Hurston and Mrs. Boxer in The Amen Corner to name a few. She is a writer, director, producer and winner of “Best Stage Play” for her production, A Christmas To Remember streaming on The OnPoint Network and she Executive Produced her first short film, No Longer Bound. She is grateful to be a part of Head Above Water under the direction of Bianca L. Jones and Darius V. Daughtry.
