Five Rules of Theatre Etiquette
1. Thou shalt not record the performance with video or audio equipment of any sort.
It is the Theatre Department's policy not to authorize video and audio
recordings for this show; this is a violation of our licensing agreement.
2. Thou shalt not take still photos during the performance with flash photography.
Though still photos are not prohibited by any licensing agreement, flashes and the noise of cameras can be distracting to other patrons, and especially the performers.
3. Thou shalt not let thy cell phone, pager, or watch go 'beep!' or make any other noise.
Again, such things are distracting to other patrons and to the performers.
4. Thou shalt not talk during the performance, nor applaud at inopportune times, so as not to interrupt the enjoyment of other patrons around you.
5. Thou shalt not eat or drink in the Auditorium.
Alexandria City High School has given us a gorgeous space in which to
perform. In order to keep it gorgeous, please keep all food and drink outside of the Auditorium.
To ensure a positive theatre-going experience for all our patrons and performers, please abide by these 5 rules.
Thank you ... and enjoy the show!
