    Hope E. Bachman-Miller (Executive Director/Technical Director)

Hope has been involved in Alexandria City Drama for a long time. She directed four shows at TC as a student, then disappeared and went off to Mary Washington, where she earned a B.A. in English. “Bach” returned to ACHS as a Teacher in the Fall of 2003, which makes this year her 20th year of teaching. She has alternated her role as Executive Producer and Executive Director since partnering with Jones in the Fall of 2004, and has been the Technical Director of every show since Fall of 2005.  Executive Director credits include: 12 Angry Jurors, RENT, Seussical: The Musical, Brave New World, The Tempest, Medea, Little Shop of Horrors; plus numerous One-Act Play Festivals and Writers’ Festivals. Thanks to Leslie for 19 years of making Theatre as a Team, Pat Smith for all the lighting and technical support, this AMAZING group of Actors and Crew, and - as always - her VERY patient husband and son.
