    Samantha Bursich

    DIRECTOR  Samantha Jane Bursich is a New Baden native and has been involved in over 60 different theatrical and film productions. She has performed, directed, music directed, stage managed, composed, played, and choreographed shows in both the southern Illinois and St. Louis area for the past 20 years. She currently teaches tap, voice, piano, audition prep, and manages the Skyline Studio of Dance & the Arts. She would like to thank Artstarts for allowing her this amazing experience, her family, friends, and Robb for always being supportive, the production team for their wisdom and expertise, and the kids for making it all worth it.

    Granger Odum

    MUSIC DIRECTOR  Granger Odum (Music Director)  This is Granger's ninth production with Artstarts, having previously music directed Sounds of AmericaAladdin Jr./Aladdin KidsThe Lion King Jr.GodspellElf: The Musical Jr.Seussical Jr., and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.  His is delighted to be back for this fantastic production of Mulan Jr..  Granger has been involved in Southern Illinois theatre for over 25 years, and it is always an honor to bring another work to the stage.  He is also the Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Marion and a private voice teacher.  He continues to be humbled by the opportunity to work with such talented and creative young people and he wants to thank them for being the wonderful people they are!

    Joey Johnson

    MARTIAL ARTS DIRECTOR  Joey Johnson is a Southern Illinois native who grew up in the theater.  He has performed with almost every theater group in the area.  He has also directed for Skyline Creek Productions, Three Graces Theatre, and is proud to have worked on his 9th production with Artstarts Company.  Working with the children of this area has been his most rewarding "job" to date.  He can't wait to work with his friends, colleagues and kiddos this fall with Artstarts again!  His thanks his friends, family, and the Artstarts board for this amazing opportunity.
