I would like to thank our community for taking part in our Throwback Theatre survey. The on-line survey asked our friends and neighbors to select a non-musical from our past 20 years to celebrate the start of our next 20 years! Steel Magnolias was the title chosen to celebrate our 20th anniversary.
This little gem of a show about laughter-through-tears is comfort food, and we need that! Mothers still want to protect their daughters, and daughters want to make their own decisions. Friends still call you out, test you, try you, pray for you (whether you like it or not) and when you need them, they cry with you.
I was privileged to be in our very first production, Curious Savage, with another AACT founder, Steve Bice. We are even more proud to present our 95th production as we close our 20th season! The friendships we have made over the years have been as delicious as Truvy’s recipe for Cuppa Cuppa Cuppa. We hope you enjoy this evening with the AACT family.
