Broccoli Theatricals is a theatre production company started by John Baiocchi. There is some explanation of the name on the website broccolitheatricals.com. In short, John wanted a producing entity for some business and production purposes. Encore Theater Company is James Padovano’s brain child, an independent theater company to produce shows that promoted his artistic vision.

John and James began collaborating for the Theatre Unchained production of COMPANY in early 2014. James offered his considerable experience as a stage manager. Together they and Parker Cristan brought the show to life with the considerable musical talents of Jacob Sudbrink.

Shortly thereafter they again collaborated for Unchained’s Milwaukee Premiere of THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL John directed with Parker Cristan’s help, and James served as stage manager and production designer. Again they made magic together.

With THE FANTASTICKS, directed by James, they began a partnership independent of any particular company. They continue here, and in June with SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM at In Tandem Theatre.
