as Peter

After a long hiatus following a turn in Proof in college, he made his return to the stage last year in Picnic as Alan Seymour. He is simultaneously stunned and stoked to play Peter with such an incredibly talented cast and crew. He would like to thank his wife Laura for not throwing him out after so many late nights driving home from Bastrop and for being his best friend.
Ruben M. Palacios

as Taylor

Ruben is a Houston native who served 21 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman until his retirement in 2021. For the next two years he traveled the country living full time in an RV until finally settling in Bastrop where he decided to get involved in the community via volunteering and the performing arts.
Samantha Plumb

as Rita

Samantha is an Austin based actress, and this will be her first show with the Bastrop Opera House. She has most recently been seen in Gaslight Baker Theatre's production of Frankenstein as Elizabeth, and has previously worked under Bethany's direction in Way Off Broadway's production of Now and Then.
Lorelei Hutchings

as Tom

Lorelei is a seamstress and distant dreamer living in Manor, TX. Having appeared in Silent Sky at the Bastrop Opera House, and Mary Poppins, she is thrilled to be joining the cast at Bastrop Opera House yet again. She sends special thanks to the men who shaped her: Pee-wee Herman, Gonzo the great and my "Darling" husband.
Sheryl Gilchrist

as Mrs. Boyle

Sheryl is a recently retired international school educator and a current musical theater student at ACC. She has performed with a number of organizations both locally and abroad, most notably Santo Domingo Little Theatre, Harlingen Performing Arts Theatre, and Sam Bass Theatre. Most recently she performed in Sunflower: The Musical at the Scottish Rite Theatre in Austin.
