Dr. Edward Joyner
as Male Narrator/Church Elder
Dr Joyner was born in Farmville, NC. He began his education career as a history and sociology teacher, at James Hilhouse HS. He later became the Principal of Jackie Robinson Middle School in New Haven, from 1977-1986. Dr Joyner has trained educators and social policy makers, worldwide and co-authored several books addressing the education of poor and/or minority children.

A native New Yorker, she has been dancing for over 35 years. Classically trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern and lyrical dance. Professionally trained at Miss Jan's Dance Studio in Danbury, CT, Center for Creative Youth at Wesleyan Univ., Dance Theatre of Harlem. She is Advisor of the Visions of Praise Dance Ministry at Bethel AME New Haven, since 2012

Isaiah Little
as Joseph
Isaiah Little is a professianl dancer, teacher and choreographer. He is a lifelong resident of New Haven. He has studied and mastered Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, African and Hip-Hop styles of dance. He is a former Principle Dancer of Tina Thompson Skin Dance Company based in NYC. He is an instructor at DDC's of New Haven and Bridgeport and Neighborhood Studios of Fairfield.

Carissa Kee-Conyers
as The Angel
A native of New Haven, CT, a dancer for over 30yrs. She is classically trained and professionally adept in many forms and genres of dance. She is a dance instructor for Hamden Academy of Dance and Music, Studio BE, Dance Program Director for New Haven Academy HS. She is the Director of the Visions of Praise at Bethel AME and Choreographer for Immanuel Baptist Churches.
