Annie Jr. - April 26 - April 27, 2018

Blankner School

 Director's Notes (Continued)

Thank you to our Blankner alums - Emma Chippindale, our show’s incredible choreographer, Bree DeFeo, our fabulous costume manager, to Alejandra Rivera- Campo for assisting Bree, and the many other Blankner alumni who have stepped in to help when their busy schedules permitted it. This just proves that once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog.

Finally, thank you to Dr. Kreil and Mr. Bing for their enthusiasm, dedication, and continuous support of the Blankner Theatre Program. We are confident that our program will continue to grow and be successful under their leadership. And who knows? You may just get a peek at their new found acting skills sometime tonight. Thank you to our sound tech, Mr. Himes; you sure make us sound good! Thanks to Ashley Whitman for working alongside him. We also appreciate Donna Zuefle and Lauren Westwood- thanks for working the spotlights and making us shine!

Thank you to the cast and crew for the countless hours you worked on this production; working with you has been so enjoyable! Parents, thank you for allowing us to work with your most precious treasure- your amazing children. We cherish the time we have had with them to help them deepen their interpersonal relationships and sharpen their performance skills as young adults. These students are dedicated, committed, and determined to shine for you tonight. So sit back and enjoy the story of Annie, one that we hope will excite, challenge, and inspire you to attack life’s challenges with a smile, shake off that self-doubt and fears and sing your heart out just as Annie does. Always remember that even when you’re faced with seemingly unsurmountable circumstances, don’t give up hope for The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow!

Sincerely,

Kimberly Weir and Moira Kelly
