Godspell - June 10 - June 19, 2022

Break A Leg Legally Productions

 End Notes

From the Director(Jacqueline Foss): Tonight’s musical holds a special place in my heart. GODSPELL was one of the first musicals I saw as a child, and one of the first musicals I performed in. GODSPELL is also the very first musical to be performed by Break A Leg Legally!

GODSPELL has it all - singing, dancing, music, drama, comedy, and pathos. These elements are the results of so much dedication, talent, sweat, and sacrifice from so many people.
With my whole heart, I would like to thank every cast, band, and crew member for helping to create this amazing show! Throughout everything- Covid scares, canceled rehearsals, Turn Back O’ Man choreography - you persevered! I am so incredibly proud of you all! Thank you!
To the audiences- thank you for coming out to support Break A Leg Legally and live theatre! We are so grateful! We hope GODSPELL brings a little joy and hope into your lives! - Jackie

From the Music Director(Sean Gaff): It’s been a long journey back from the pandemic with no musicals for over two years. When Jackie contacted me to Music Direct “Godspell”, the answer was absolutely yes! When rehearsals began we all found that we were a bit rusty and very much needing this as we embarked on a long and tedious rehearsal process. There was no doubt that we needed this. There was also no doubt that our audience needed a long overdue musical experience! The cast included familiar faces it was great to see, as well as many fresh new faces eager to join us for the “Godspell” journey. Along the way we discovered that this group of people were all unique personalities meeting one another on their own terms, with much passion and a need for community! This is exactly what “Godspell” is about. We’ve learned the material and met the challenges. I believe I speak for all of us when I say that we are extremely proud to present this show and also proud of time and hard work we’ve all put into it. Please enjoy this epic story with us as we celebrate a return to the stage… and to life. We would not be able to celebrate without the audience. It’s wonderful to see and share with you again!- Sean

From the Producer(Gerard Foss):When we started  Break A Leg Legally, over 5 years ago, one of our goals was to perform a Broadway Musical in a community theatre setting. Now with all of your help we are presenting "Godspell"! All of you have worked hard and have come together as a strong theatre family. From helping to sell ads and raffle tickets, to helping each other with dance routines and overall being very supportive of one another.  I could not be more proud of everyone in the Cast and Crew of this production and I am very excited of what the future might bring! Break A Leg(Legally) each and every one of you!! - Gerry
