Robert Prue

My name is Rob Prue. My first play was Egad What a Cad, I played a character named Manly Rash. It was a melodrama, and it really sparked my interest in being in front of people and performing. My next role was the Lion in The Wizard of Oz. Both were high school productions. Fast forward 16 years and my first adult role was Jonathan Harker in Dracula, with Break A Leg Legally in 2019 and 2020, then Father Richard in Bless Me Father, Payne Showers in Artifice and Paulo in Never Get Smart With An Angel. Then back again, to the Play that got me back into theater: Dracula as Count Dracula.

Rick Andrade
as John the Baptist/Judas
Rick has been involved in over 100 productions around the Merrimack Valley since 1998. He was a longtime member of the Amesbury Playhouse Dinner Theatre and is making his BALL debut after a 10 year hiatus since portraying “Conrad Birdie” in WRT’s Bye Bye Birdie. GODSPELL was the first play he saw and the theatre bug bit hard. Rick is an award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist, entertainer and DJ who has performed as far north as Montreal and as far East as Azores, Portugal. His greatest accomplishment is being a father to Selena. Some favorite roles include: “Japheth” in Two By Two, “McMurphy” in Cuckoo’s Nest, “Javert” in Les Miserables, “Motel” in Fiddler, “Danny Zuko” in Grease, “Judd” in Oklahoma!, “Smedgley” in Dracula, “Jesus” in Godspell, “Father Richard” in Bless Me Father. Emily Andrews
as Emily
Emily Andrews is thrilled to return to Break A Leg Legally and The Strand! She was first seen on this stage as Elizabeth (2020) and Miss Fenster (2021) in Dracula and as Graciela in Artiface. Emily is a second year graduate student at UNH. She is a recent graduate from Union College, where she was a member of the coveted and historic Mountebanks theatre troupe. Past credits include Trina in Falsettos, Herb in Godspell, and Schwartzy in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Please enjoy the show.
