    Trina has spent many hours in the theater with professional, school, and community theater groups. She has played roles including Kate Keller in The Miracle Worker, Norma in Visitor from Forest Hill, The Nurse in Romeo and Juliet and Flora in Tennessee Williams’ 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, which garnered her title of Best Actress at the West Virginia State International Thespian Festival in 1997. As a director, her productions with Bridgeport High School Thespian Troupe #7549, The Lovers of VeronaMedeaBury the Dead, and Star-Crossed Lovers, all won first place regional titles and advanced to state-level competitions where they were honored as the state’s Outstanding One Act. Trina is currently a member of The Rustic Mechanicals and The Vintage Theatre Company LLC professional Shakespeare troupe and is the director of the VTC Academy youth troupe.

    Jennifer Hess is a 1993 graduate of Bridgeport High School. This is her seventeenth year as an elementary teacher in Harrison County. This is her third year as the program’s play sponsor, but she has been involved with BHS Theatre as a parent volunteer since 2015. Jennifer has truly enjoyed being part of this production and is very appreciative of all the teamwork involved to make it happen. Break legs, theatre family!

    Joshua Stubbs holds a BA (West Virginia Wesleyan College) and a MM (Shenandoah Conservatory) degree in vocal performance, and is an ABD doctoral candidate at West Virginia University, also for vocal performance. As a music director and accompanist, he has been involved with productions at West Virginia Wesleyan College, Robert Morris University, Bridgeport High School, Lewis County High School, Robert C. Byrd, the Mountaineer Creative Arts Council, Act Two Theatre Company, Vintage Theatre Company, Notre Dame High School, and eight main stage productions with Buckhannon Community Theatre. He maintains voice and piano studios in Weston and Clarksburg with Bandland and the Vintage Theatre Company.
