as Mary Poppins
Amelia is ecstatic to be playing her dream role, Mary Poppins! As a part of BHS theatre since 9th grade—and an inducted thespian since 10th—she played Goose in Charlotte’s Web, Mrs. Mayor in Seussical, a chorus member in The Girl in the White Pinafore, and went from ensemble to unexpected understudy for the roles of Kelsi and others in High School Musical. Before high school, Amelia participated in many plays at BUMC, as well as BMS show choir. She is the clarinet section leader in the marching band, a singer in Ohio’s Cardinal Chorale, an NHS member, and a member of her church’s youth council and choir. Amelia enjoys writing, playing piano, drawing, and video editing. She hopes to pursue both creative writing and film production after graduation. She is joyous to be performing with her brother, Ben, and she would like to thank her parents, Dan and Katherine, for supporting her journey through the arts.

Reese Weaver
as Mary Poppins
Reese is a senior at BHS and has worked on previous BHS productions such as Narnia, Elf, Seussical, High School Musical, and Girl In The White Pinafore. She’s currently an inducted member of Thespian Troupe 7549. Reese has also done theater productions with Fairmont State Academy of the Arts such as Winnie The Pooh, Seussical, School House Rock, Into the Woods, and Shrek The Musical. She’s currently in the BHS marching band, symphonic band, and BHS Frontline. She’s studied voice with Pam Krall for the last 7 years and taken many dance classes with Kim Bell at Instep Dance and Fitness for 3 years. Reese has also been given the opportunity to sing for the Fallen Officers Ceremony, a naturalization ceremony, and a charity golf tournament that raised money for veterans. Reese is the daughter of Heather and Derek Weaver, and sister to Bryce and Haden Weaver
