Antigone, daughter of Oedipus, has been sheltered from the political turmoil caused by her grandfather, father, and brothers. When her and her younger sister, Ismene, are the only surviving family members, Antigone steps up to defend the citizens of Thebes from her Uncle Creon and the forces determined to corrupt her home. To what lengths will a young woman, who has only experienced privilege, go to save a nation once she learns the truth?
