Life as a Pomegranate - February 06 - February 10, 2013

BroadView Laundrymat Theatre Company

 End Notes

'and the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more than the risk it took to blossom'- Anais Nin

Like Rosy Fudge I am hopelessly in love with theatre. Unlike Rosy, I am not one to let life merely happen at me.

But in 2000 I willingly committed a heinous crime: took time off from a lucrative, fun and interesting acting career to have children.

In 2008 I came back to a new world. With a crooked smile and no way to convince my agents I can do more than commercials I began to write.

But what?

I stripmined my life and Containers &  Life as a Pomegranate were born. Writing has started a landslide. I now have two new plays in development and (yay!) have been hired to play some juicy roles as 'just' an actor.

Think getting a one woman show to OffOff Broadway is tough?  NO! As Rosy says:

"I am living my biggest dream now."

Do you live your biggest dream? Please try. Nothing like it.
